Kaddy Lee-Preston - South East Today Weather

In the second sudden departure to hit the BBC regions in the space of a few days, it was announced on Twitter by Kaddy and other presenters only an hour before going on air last night that Kaddy is leaving the BBC, and that this would be her final appearance on South East Today after eleven years with the programme.  The reasons for Kaddy's departure remain unclear.

Kaddy is a popular presenter who is well-liked on capping forums.  Many of us will miss her, and we wish her all the best for the future.  A special tribute featuring highlights from Kaddy's years with SET was shown towards the end of the programme, and caps from this will appear on the blog tomorrow.

  1. My wife and I, (more me) will really miss Kaddy. She will be a hard act to follow. We wish her all the best where ever she goes. No doubt we'll hear more about her as she is a natural presenter and very watchable.
